Toughest aspect of week 2 is to not over react to week 1 results. We spent months preparing for the season so we won't let 1 week of play - where anything can happen - change our attitudes too strongly about any team. Going 3-0 on TOP PICKS tells us we have a strong handle on teams and we'll use week 1 appropriately to adjust but rely more on at least a few weeks of play before shifting opinions on any team too much.

Cincinnati Bengals at Green Bay Packers
Bengals were exceptionally unimpressive in week 1 after some high hopes for this season (again) so it's tough to support them here against a strong D and well balanced offense.

Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans
Titans D simply too good to expect even the talented (although inconsistent) Texans offense to do much. Titans more than capable on offense to score on weak Houston D.

Oakland Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs
Chiefs should be better this week with Cassel back and Flowers in the lineup. But biggest concern here is the Chiefs inability to stop the Raiders running game which looked very good week 1 and against KC last year. Forcing Russell to beat you is the play against Oakland - Chiefs not capable of doing this.

New Orleans Saints at Philadelphia Eagles
We worry about the Eagles without McNabb (unlikely to play) but the Saints D will struggle to stop the multiple weapons of Philly at home (Saints not the same outside the dome).

Arizona Cardinals at Jacksonville Jaguars
Perhaps the toughest game of the week to call as both teams looked OK at times last against good opponents (yes, we think SF qualifies as a good opponent) but the Jags secondary worries us too much here - Cards over SB hangover quickly.

Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers
Impressed with both performances a week ago but tough to buy in too much when it's against the Rams so still have questions about Seahawks. Expect Niners to be better this season and now with some confidence.

Steelers one of the top teams in the NFL and the Bears already suffering losses on defenses. But Steelers run game needs to get better. This one goes to the wire and in close games we take the better QB.

Not entirely convinced the Chargers down performance last week was a one week problem. Neither line looked very good. Ravens with some confidence and a very impressive D of course.

Tough to bet on the Browns on the road but tough to bet on Denver at all with that defense.

NY Giants at Dallas Cowboys
If for no other reason take the points in this one because it always seem to come down to the wire. Cowboys might be over pumped and the Giants the most balanced team in the NFC.
