Arizona at St. Louis
Rams downward spiral likely to continue with Bulger going to the bench with injured ribs. Of course, his production not likely to be missed. Cardinals have not looked great and have QB problems of their own but we expect Warner to excellent when he gets his chances here.

Carolina at New Orleans
Panthers typically better on the road, but without Delhomme we have some concerns. We felt the Saints would be well down this season and so far they have been - but.....we continue to believe they'll have a breakout game. If this isn't it we'll stop looking for it.

Cleveland at New England
Patriots have been outstanding and that's an understatement. Have to look for a let down from them here and the Browns have enough talent to stay with two TDs - just a huge NFL line.

Detroit at Washington
Simply can't take the Lions on the road. Look for an improved and ready Redskins team off the bye week.

Jacksonville at Kansas City
Chiefs playing better, but Jax comes in off their bye week. Teams strengths will collide here and this looks like a knock down dragout battle to the end. Chiefs excellent at home, and a young QB facing Arrowhead for the first time is not a good formula.

Miami at Houston
Don't like the Texans without Johnson and he may miss again. But simply having a tough time finding reasons to like the Dolphins, especially on the road.

N.Y. Jets at N.Y. Giants
Giants look a bit more like a team ready to get things together. Signs of trouble for the Jets getting too obvious to ignore.

Seattle at Pittsburgh
Do like the Steelers, especially at home but the Seahawks are playing solid enough to make this a game, points too tempting with a good Seahawk team.

Tampa Bay at Indianapolis
Colts always tough at home and playing well on both sides of the ball. However with Addai perhaps not 100% and Harrison certainly hurting reasons to worry they can extend the margin. Buccs balance on offense is impressive and the young D has some nice speed.

San Diego at Denver
Neither team playing up to expectations this season, but it's tough not to take Denver at home as Rivers continues to make mistakes - at Mile High is not the place to get healthy.
