Pre-Season NFL Football Picks

As we state every season, tread lightly in the pre-season.
Just too many players that nobody (including the coaches sometimes) know enough about to make significant wagers. But, when we find some good plays for the pre-season we'll post them.

We are 3-2 for the pre-season so far, plus 3-0 on our blog...
Pre-Season Week 3 Picks

Saints/Chiefs UNDER 37

We're 2-0 with under and KC in the pre-season, stick with it. Chiefs offense not very good, defense much better and although starters will be playing into 2nd half we don't expect a shoot out.

Baltimore Ravens +3

Billick is 11-4 ATS (and SU) in his 3rd pre-season games. Joe Gibbs 1-4 ATS in week 3 historically.

Over/Under Win Predictions - Season
2007 NFL

posted August 5th, 2007

There are some great chances to make some good money if you have some patience.
Bet the over/under on a teams season win total.
Here are the very best chances to make some money when the season ends.

Baltimore Ravens OVER 9 - Their defense remains excellent and the running game should be solid with McGahee, they won't get to 13 again but if McNair stays healthy 10 looks to be a breeze.

Denver Broncos OVER 9.5 - Not entirely sold on Cutler, but plenty of talent and with both KC and Oakland looking to struggle and one of the easiest schedules in the NFL the Broncos should easily get to 10 wins.

Seattle Seahawks OVER 9 - A very popular pick just one year ago to win the SuperBowl, but with injuries to both Hassleback and Alexander they faltered - but still went to the playoffs. 10 wins rather likely in this division.

Carolina Panthers OVER 9 - Easiest money of the year! Panthers have all the talent to get to the Super Bowl this season. They lost 80 starts to injury in 2006 and are now under the radar. They bounce back in a big way and get to 11 wins.

Jacksonville Jaguars OVER 9 - Another strong play with a tough defense, a very strong running game and Byron Leftwich in his contract year. Their schedule is the only reason not to be the house, but they look to be a solid 10 win team.

Kansas City Chiefs UNDER 8 - Some sportsbooks have dropped this line to 7.5 and it remains an 'under' play as the KC offensive line is going to struggle to be good and they don't have a quarterback. The defense should be better but we see double digit losses for this team.

Tennessee Titans UNDER 7 - Too many close games last season to depend on this team in 2007 and Vince Young won't surprise anybody this year and he needs to become a better passer.

Detroit Lions OVER 6 - A lot of injuries last season and a much easier schedule this season plus the second year for the new coaches.
