	The good Falcons team showed up last week (at least the offense) but that was at home.  The Bengals D finally stepped up last week in a close game. Ultimately we still feel like the Bengals are a bit overrated and feel the Falcons can run on the Bengals.  This one stays close.

	Baltimore at New Orleans
	Tough game here, the Saints have me believing - and why not? Reggie Bush, Drew Brees, Colston, McAllister, Horn - this team has talent. Notice the lack of names on the defensive side of the ball mentioned there?  Expect both teams to get on the board and though the Ravens offense has been improved they haven't been great - but they have faced a tough schedule and it gets easier tonight.  Saints toughest test to date.
	Baltimore Ravens +2.5

	Houston at Tennessee
	Tough to find much excitement for either one of these teams. Carr has pretty good, but not consistently enough.  Perhaps the Texans found a ground game last week and the Titans D is simply too bad (31st) to lay points.

	Seattle at Kansas City
	Concern here is that Chiefs let down.  Huge effort last week, got a nice upset over SD, now they get a wounded Seattle team likely to raise their play.  BUT....KC outlook very good, some winable games ahead, Trent Green on his way back, Wellbourne headed back to help the offensive line.  A win here and KC is on the road back to being a playoff contender.  Chiefs have anothe big effort in front of the great Arrowhead fans. ** Update - Damon Huard looking like a game-time decision for KC at QB and it's unlikley he'll be 100%, this swings the advantage to Seattle with Croyle at QB for KC, despite Wallace going for Seattle. Best recommendation on this game - don't bet it or play the 'under'!
	No side worth recommending with the QB questions for KC.  If Huard goes for KC we lean to the Chiefs but if Croyle must go the line will dive and you'll be glad you got Seattle at +6 Unfortunately we won't know who goes at QB for KC until game-time. Stick with the total here Seahawks/Chiefs UNDER 38.5

	San Francisco at Chicago
	Perhaps the Bears offense headed into the bye week a little early last Monday Night - but the D bailed them out.  So, do the Bears feel like they are walking on water and can't lose?  Or do they have the resolve to bounce back with max effort against a team they should beat with their eyes close (like Arizona)?  We believe Lovie Smith makes sure it's the latter.  Bears have been spectacular at home.  Check the weather before you bet but on Thursday night the forecast looks good and we expect a big Chicago victory. Bears combined games scores at home this season 111 to 20!
	Chicago Bears -15.5

	Tampa Bay at N.Y. Giants
	Buccs playing better, but those squeaker wins came at home.  Much tougher test here.  But what we know about the Giants is that consistency is not their strong suit.  So after two big division wins and a thumping of rival Dallas on Monday night we believe the Giants will be down and play a lack luster game here.  TB not the better team, and not a great road team.  But because it's not all about the talent on the field, take the points.

	St. Louis at San Diego
	Impressed by the Rams start, but not yet believers.  Now they have some serious injury concerns on defense.  Chargers happy to be back home after a tough loss in KC.  Chargers bounce back with a big game on offense but the Rams enough weapons to stay close - and find the back door late. Can't lay this many but the 'over' might be the smarter money anyway.

	Indianapolis at Denver
	Big battle among the AFC elite.  Should be a great game.  Especially when you're winning money! It's a TOP PICK!!!

	N.Y. Jets at Cleveland
	So who is sucks less?  Both teams have shown signs of improvement and hope for the future but this one looks evenly matched.  Not convinced the Jets are ready to win on the road with consistency but have seen more positive signs from Pennington and company.

	Pittsburgh at Oakland
	As we post on Thursday night Roethlisberger remains a question mark for this game.  He's likely to be a game time decision but his status doesn't change much for us - in fact we like what we saw last season and early season from Charlie Batch in this offense.  The price is perhaps a bit high but the Raiders problems run deep - especially if they have to go again without LaMont Jordan.
