On paper, the Jags are the far superior team and should have little trouble getting a win and by double digits.  But what we know about the Jags is they have been known to play down to their competition and make things a little tougher on themselves.  But that's only enough to keep this off the TOP PICK list, we really like the Jags here!

Tempting to take Buccs looking better with rookie QB Gradkowski at the helm, but rookie QB against Philly's front 7 after the Eagles lost a tough one last week just doesn't sound real good.  One of the tougher plays of the weekend in our opinion but we'll side with the Eagles until the Buccs can beat a tough opponent and show some consistency.

Above we said Phi/TB was one of the toughest games to handicap this week, this might be THE toughest.  If this game had been played 3 weeks ago we'd be all over Atlanta.  But the Falcons have not played well recently and the Steelers finally woke up last week.  So which team shows up - in both uniforms?  We believe the Steelers may have gotten their confidence back and although they have weaknesses we are convinced the Falcons can exploit them.

Absolutely believe KC will put forth outstanding effort on defense at Arrowhead and with Marty coming to town.  Problem is, we don't see where their offense will come from.  Their offensive line has in one year gone from the best in football to one of the worst.  Johnson is getting nothing and getting frustrated.  And only against the Niners "defense" has Huard done anything.  KC gets outplayed and out coached - this one could get ugly if KC gets behind early at home.

So again we look at a Denver game and think, if Denver gets 5 points do they have enough to cover the spread?  Answer seems to be yes lately but the problem was last week, Denver had no interest in getting to 5 points.  This week they may try to win 3-0!  Have seen some nice signs from Cleveland at times but this D is too tough (assuming they show up to play).  Broncos win 4 FGs to 1.

We try to pick every game, every week - if we were going to not pick one it would be this one - at least on the side.  We'll have all on our money on the TOTAL in this one!!  Easy money with our TOP PICKS!
With about 12 minutes to go in the game on Monday Night we already had Oakland as a very highly rated play expecting the Cardinals to be coming off their biggest win in franchise history and the Raiders realizing this might be their only chance at victory the rest of the season (desperate teams are a nice play usually!)  But as the entire Cardinals franchise was summed in the final minutes of that "you had to see it to believe it" finish we just have to wonder where the Cardinals heads will be.....
Are they still thinking about it, do they feel they simply can't win no matter what?  Or do they come out fired up and ready to roll over one of the weakest teams on their schedule?  That's tough to handicap!  So we'll stick to the "paper" and the proverably papers says the Cardinals are the superior team.   But our real recommendation here is to bet big on the over/under with our TOP PICKS!

Simply don't see how the Vikings score enough points on the road to keep this one close.  Only concern here is if the Seahawks come out flat - but even if they do, they can score more than enough to comeback and even cover.
