Buffalo at Detroit
Finding positives for either team not easy to do thus far in 2006.  But slight edges to Buffalo on defense (although that's not saying much) as well as RB and QB - that adds up.
Buffalo Bills -1

Carolina at Baltimore
Ravens off their first loss will certainly be hungry and come with plenty of intensity, but Panthers D formidable as well so expect this game (like most Baltimore games this season) to come down to just a few big plays - and that being the case we prefer the Panthers.   Carolina 19-4 ATS as a dog in recent tries.
Carolina Panthers +3

Cincinnati at Tampa Bay
Buccs better last week (relative term I realize) and Bengals continue to have injury concerns on defense.  Buccs by far the more motivated team and should have a running game here with helps the young, but impressive in his first game, QB Gradkowski.  Smarter play is on the total and we do like the Bengals but this could be a trap for them.
Tampa Bay Buccs +6
Bengals/Buccs OVER 42.5

Houston at Dallas
Houston off a bye, has to be better and worry a bit about the Cowboys getting back up after last week.  However, those are enough only to keep this game from being a TOP PICK, Dallas should have little trouble here.  We do love the total here however - get all 5 TOP PICKS here!
Dallas Cowboys -13
The over/under is one of FIVE TOP PICKS!

N.Y. Giants at Atlanta
Giants got up for last weeks game and played very well and got an impressive win.  But now a tough road trip against a tough running team always difficult to handle at home.
Atlanta Falcons -3

Philadelphia at New Orleans
If not for some New Orleans "magic" seemingly following the Saints and the possibility of a let down from Philly we'd also have this game listed with our TOP PICKS.  But since the Saints keep proving that maybe they are for real (Brees looking healthy and throwing well, Colston emerging, Bush a weapon, and McAllister looking better every game) we are hesitant to load up on what is a superior defensive front and more experienced winner in Philly.  We will however load up on the total in this game with our TOP PICKS!
Philadelphia Eagles -3
Over/Under is easy money with our TOP PICKS!

Seattle at St. Louis
We are not sold on the Rams.  But we might be among the few handicappers who aren't however, see our friends at www.LatePlays.com to find out on Sunday morning if that's true!
And it's not that we aren't impressed by the Rams who seem to be getting the new system nicely as the season progresses but the Seahawks have had 2 weeks to get ready after getting embarassed in primetime and the Rams yet to face a top ranked offense.
Seattle Seahawks -3

Tennessee at Washington
Can Vince Young again give the Titans a chance for a huge upset?  Do the Redskins return to form after a bad game last week?  We've got the answers with our TOP PICKS!

Kansas City at Pittsburgh
Seems unlikely that KC, who has lost to the two good teams they've played will have much chance to move the ball against the Steelers who are better than their 1-3 record and face a must win against an old rival.  Steelers will be very fired up for this one, we see the KC offense getting very little.  Only the continued struggles of Roethlisberger keep this one off our TOP PICKS list but we still side with the Steelers in a low scoring game.
Pittsburgh Steelers -7
Chiefs/Steelers UNDER 36.5

Miami at N.Y. Jets
Jets favored for the first time this season, but perhaps with good reason...they play no defense.  Dolphins at least play a little.  Could finally be a chance for Miami to have a good game, as they have to better with Harrington (don't they?).  Still, Jets at home looking to make up for an ugly loss last week.
NY Jets -2.5

San Diego at San Francisco
In this one our first look is at a surprising line - but which way?  Find out with our TOP PICKS!
We do like the total as the 49ers offense certainly much improved and Rivers showing he can throw last week.
5 TOP PICKS HERE!
Chargers/49ers OVER 42.5
