Buffalo at Miami
Miami stayed with Pittsburgh in the opener until self destructing late.  Back home and facing a much less intimidating defense and an offense that will have trouble consistently moving the ball against the Dolphin D should lead to a solid win for the fish.
Miami Dolphins -6.5
Miami/Buff UNDER 37

Carolina at Minnesota
This game shows one of the advantages to posting picks later in the week, of course this is most likely a game time decision.  With Steve Smith back healthy we'd feel pretty strongly about going with Carolina in a big comeback win.  Without Smith we aren't quite as confident but do like the Panthers still.

Cleveland at Cincinnati
Bengals off a big road win perhaps looking ahead, could be a let down. These two have a history of playing close games and although on paper certainly the Bengals look to be the better team but we'll look for a closer game than this line.  But we're taking our big money and going with the total in this game as one of 3 TOP PICKS!

Detroit at Chicago
Detroit showed some toughness slowing down the Seahawks last week and the Bears showed some offense against the Packers.  Not sure the Bears offense is impressive this week and see the Lions improving.  Don't expect an upset but taking the points is the way to go here.

Houston at Indianapolis
The Eagles offense had little trouble moving the football against Houston so expect the Colts to put plenty of points on the board.  We see some improvement in the Houston offense but the offensive line still has issues and the Colts dominated both games last year.

New Orleans at Green Bay
Easy money in this one on the side - it's a TOP PICK!
We do see some holes in both defenses which is why we also recommend playing the total in this game.

Saints/Packers OVER 38.5

N.Y. Giants at Philadelphia
Impressed by Eagles last week, but a much tougher test in this one than the Texans defense.  Giants very tough schedule to start the season and desperate for a win, should be a close game but we'll side with the home team here.
Philadelphia Eagles -3

Oakland at Baltimore
Raiders looked terrible on offense against a quality defense in their own stadium.  Now on the road they face even a better defense.  Just don't see that the Raiders can score any points in this game!  Ravens new offense led by McNair makes the Ravens a very dangerous team.
Baltimore Ravens -11.5

Tampa Bay at Atlanta

Arizona at Seattle
Liked what we saw from the Cardinals offense last week, but their defense was not very good.  Seahawks will be very hungry to prove last week was a fluke and put it on the Cardinals.  Back door might be the only concern here but still must play on the home team.
Seattle Seahawks -7

St. Louis at San Francisco
As we said with the Cardinals: we were very impressed with the 49ers offense, but not their defense.  Rams could let down a bit and have struggled going to San Fran in recent years.

Kansas City at Denver
We were looking forward to a big play on Denver in this one - until Green got hurt and the line went nuts!  But the Chiefs offensive line has problems that don't get solved in a week's time - now that offensive line must protect a QB who hadn't thrown an NFL pass until last week since 2000, Bronco's offense should be focused to be better than last week and Shanhan no concerns about running it up on KC.
Denver Broncos -10.5

New England at N.Y. Jets
Not ready to get too exicted about the Jets win last week, instead recognize the better team here is the Patriots who have not had much trouble traveling to the Jets, 7-1-1 ATS overall vs Jets in recent match ups.
New England Patriots -6


Tennessee at San Diego
Chargers used the perfect formula to control the game against the Raiders, although still wondering why the Raiders kept playing nickel D against the Chargers ground attack?  Titans probably not as generous in scheme but perhaps the same result as LT is tough to contain.  Rivers certainly gained plenty of confidence.  Have seen very little from Titans offense in pre-season or game one so the Chargers look to have another dominating victory.
San Diego Chargers -11.5

Washington at Dallas
PORTIS OUT for the Redskins.  So Washington must now try to finally get their new offense going without their best player - also has to be emotional hit to Redskins.  Cowboys D should allow them to control the game and look for Bledsoe to be in synch with Owens a bit more this week.
Dallas Cowboys -6.5
Wash/Dall UNDER 37
