Early in the season in seemed parity had left the NFL as favorites win winning and covering ever growing spreads.  The last two weeks that has come to a grinding halt. 
And we can't sugar coat it - we've been terrible the last 2 weeks.  But we've won consistently for 9 years and will finish the season strong.  I've heard an argument that makes a lot of sense:  Don't go with the hot handicapper because they only cool off, go with the guy who has a strong history of winning when he's struggling - because he will turn it around.

We go 3-1-1 and the day summed up our season. We can't even win when we win!
Houston lost the game (and cover) with :09 to go and Tampa went from a win to a push with only :30 to go in the game!
But a WINNING SUNDAY nevertheless!

Neither team stopping anybody lately, points easy to come by in this one so we look to play OVER first.  But at home and no solid defense keeping them from scoring we like the Saints to get a close win.

Colts defense likely to get exposed in this one.  Cowboys run game should put up some yards, control the ball and the clock - keeping Manning on the sideline.

Packers playing better and gaining confidence while the Patriots on a rare 2 game losing streak!  But don't believe the Packers D will slow down the Patriots with enough consistency.  Pats not a top level team anymore but much better than the Packers despite their improvement.

Chiefs get Trent Green back but still have serious offensive line issues.  However, Raiders offense is very unintimidating to say the least and their so called improved D is not very good against the run.  KC controls the ball and the game.

Steelers defense still with numerous problems but simply don't see the Browns taking full advantage.  They'll get their points, but ultimately we like what we're seeing from the Pittsburgh offense finally.

Panthers put it together last week, but still had to work to avoid a late let down.  Panthers not a team you want to face in the playoffs (if they get there) but right now they are not clicking on all cylinders.  Rams just keep hanging around games and make everything close.

Eagles found "it" again last week with an impressive win.  If they remain focused this week they should get another easy win.

Cardinals finally get a chance to play a team they can beat - or should beat.  However it's rather clear that doesn't always mean much for them.  If they can't get a win here they won't likely get another one this season.

Do the Niners get their shot at the wounded Seahawks?  Or is this the week that Seattle bounces back?  Largely depends on who's available for Seattle.  Both Hassleback and Alexander likely to be game time decisions.  We lean to Seattle here especially if they get at least one star back.

Check back as the injury situation clears.

Chargers probably the better team here but Schottenheimer has always struggled in Denver and although the Broncos D has been exposed they will be solid at home and really up for the primetime match up!
