NFL Free Football Picks Week 9

There's two bets we recommend now....AFC over the NFC in the SuperBowl by 94 points!
And whoever gets to the play the NFC North "Champion" by 112 points in the playoffs!

Okay, slight over statements - lots of football left - a lot can change.
And we know you can bet the AFC vs NFC in the SuperBowl already!

TOP PICKS WIN IN WEEK 9!

MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL SPECIAL
NOW POSTED!

5 TOP PICKS this week!
We absolutely planned to go with just our 3 VERY BEST this week!
BUT....we had 6 highly rated picks after our second evaluation.  We finally found a slight flaw in one of those plays, but simply can't find them in any of these 5 games!

Atlanta at Miami, 1:00 p.m.
Vick with a week of rest should be better on his feet - but it's his passing that has been problematic.  Dolphins played solid defense again last week but will have to find a way to stop the Falcons running game - including Vick.  Not sure they can.
Atlanta Falcons -2
Atlanta/Miami UNDER 40

Carolina at Tampa Bay, 1:00 p.m.

Chicago at New Orleans, 4:05 p.m.
Bears starting to get a lot of attention, sometimes the kiss of death.  But the Saints offense not looking good at all while the Bears D is simply outstanding.  Kyle Orton looking better and better and little on the Saints defense to thing it won't continue.
Chicago Bears -3
Chi/NewOrl UNDER 34.5

Cincinnati at Baltimore, 1:00 p.m.
Ravens should have gained a lot of confidence on Monday night.  If it carries over back home they can cause problems for the Bengals.  The Cinncy offense has stumbled just a bit recently - the Ravens D not the place to solve those issues.  Ravens should be able to finally get the running game going against this defense.
Baltimore Ravens +3

Detroit at Minnesota, 1:00 p.m.
Harrington back at QB for the injured Garcia.  Garcia was NOT good last week so perhaps a 2nd chance for Harrington will revive him.  Probably not, problems go well beyond QB for the Lions.  Problems for Vikings run even deeper however.  BUT we like the prospect of a steady, veteran hand of Brad Johnson (at least until he gets hurts) for this game.  Trust the Lions less than the Vikings.  Lesser of two evils here.
Minnesota Vikings -0.5

Houston at Jacksonville, 1:00 p.m.
Texans can't protect Carr, Texans can't run the ball, Texans have little defense.  Jags are rested and desperate for a big win.  Shouldn't be a problem.
Jacksonville Jaguars -13

Oakland at Kansas City, 1:00 p.m.
Should be a shoot-out in KC.  Holmes remains a question mark (and we believe he will not play) as of Thursday night.  Raiders playing much better finding some balance offense - Chiefs may slow Jordan but Collins better lately should have little trouble against the Chiefs secondary which is not good when healthy and now banged up.
Oakland Raiders +4.5

San Diego at N.Y. Jets, 1:00 p.m.

Pittsburgh at Green Bay, 4:15 p.m.
Charlie Batch starts for the Steelers.  That can't be good news for Pittsburgh.  They'll look to win with defense and a solid running game (they usually do).  Packers still fighting and Favre always capable of a back door cover (ask Bengal bettors last week!).  FYI...Packers at 1-6 have covered 4 of 5 and have actually outscored their opponents cumlatively this season!
Green Bay Packers +3.5

Philadelphia at Washington, 8:30 p.m.
McNabb and Owens injuries likely to be gametime decisions.  However, we know that if they do play they'll be far below 100% and we've seen recently, that's not working for the Eagles.  Redskins weakness on D is minimal but it's against the run and the Eagles pass a vast majority of the time.  HUGE game for the Redskins at home in primetime - they get it done!
Washington Redskins -3

Indianapolis at New England
