Baltimore at Detroit, 1:00 p.m.
Lions have the potential for a solid offense - haven't seen it yet.  Ravens have the potential for a GREAT defense - we have seen it, but we've seen little offense from them.  But they can (and will) hammer away with Lewis.  Tempted to just take the home team, but believe the Ravens can win this one with their D - as they often do, Lions 'new' offense will continue to struggle this week.
Baltimore Ravens +1
Ravens/Lions UNDER 33

Chicago at Cleveland, 1:00 p.m.
Under the total here looks like a good play, the side is a GREAT play - it's one of 3 TOP PICKS! Get them HERE!

Browns/Bears UNDER 36

Miami at Buffalo, 1:00 p.m.
Add a great coach to a team with some talent, and you starting winning football games.  Now give that coach 4 games and a week off - they'll be better.  Bills really struggling to score point, don't believe the likely change of starting QB helps too much versus Miami.  Although always tough for a team to win a close game on the road - Dolphins are the better team right now.  Buy the 1/2 point, I hate ties.
Miami Dolphins +3.5
Dolphins/Bills UNDER 34.5

New England at Atlanta, 1:00 p.m.

New Orleans at Green Bay, 1:00 p.m.
Can Favre avoid 0-5 before the break?  They have more injuries to deal with and a short week.
We've got ALL the answer and an EASY winner!

Seattle at St. Louis, 1:00 p.m.
If Martz misses this game is that better for St. Louis?  Of course we don't in anyway mean to make light of what appears to be a serious health concern from the Rams head coach.  But, from a football point of view he has been the Rams own worst enemy too often this season, and in the past.  But, the Rams did beat the Seahawks all 3 times last season (playoff game included) so has enough changed?  Probably not.  Last team with the ball likely wins this shoot out.  FG very possibly wins this game, take the 3 and buy the half to avoid the tie.
Seattle Seahawks +3.5

Tampa Bay at N.Y. Jets, 1:00 p.m.
Enter Vinny Testaverde.  And although we're not sure Bollinger had much chance to be the savior in NY just yet, the problem last week (and much of the year) is no protection from the offensive line and no running game.  Looks like Cadillac will be a game time decision, and although Pittman solid last week, we aren't as sold without Williams in the lineup.  Let down possible from Tampa - but less likely with Gruden.  Tampa struggled against questionable Detroit last week...? In other words, don't bet the side - in fact as of Thursday night there's not even a line.  Smart money sticks with our recommendation of 'under' the total - Buccs great D, Jets only have defense to count on.
Bucs/Jets UNDER 32.5

Tennessee at Houston, 1:00 p.m.
David Carr again getting no help from his offensive line - can't throw from your back.  Well you can, but not well.  Either team you go with here you're betting on a bad team so another one worth avoiding perhaps.  FG wins it? Most likely.  Take the points and the more experienced QB.
Tennessee Titans +3

If you don't already have one - you need a sports pager!

Indianapolis at San Francisco, 4:05 p.m.
Wow, can we lay 14.5 points in the NFL???  If the Colts have the offense in high gear, they roll over San Fran, so perhaps we can.  A back door cover by the talented rookie QB late in the 4th Quarter as the Colts have shut it down the 49ers best chance.  But laying 14.5 in the NFL???  If the Colts show up for this one and play their best football on the road we can see this31-7 easy, so yes I guess so.
Indianapolis Colts -14.5

Carolina at Arizona, 4:15 p.m.
McCown getting a big win against San Fran hardly a buy sign on struggling, disappointing Arizona.  Much tougher test this week.  But confidence can go a long way.  Long trip, short week, tough weather conditions all working against Panthers, who are the better team.  But they've made mistakes too often early in games.  A lot working against the visiting Panthers .... BUT we believe the line has over adjusted for the Cards win last week and the factors we mention.  Panthers win a close one.

Carolina Panthers -2.5

Philadelphia at Dallas, 4:15 p.m.
No question Dallas will be ready for this one.  But they don't have an answer for TO and they are simply too conservative on offense to be sucessful.  Bledsoe starting to wobble after a strong start, could be tough going today.
Philadelphia Eagles -3

Washington at Denver, 4:15 p.m.
Redskins undefeated, but doing it with mirrors it seems.  Tough test.  We'd be inclined to take the Redskins and the points as both teams tend to play close games.  But the Redskins must run to have any chance and we just can't get past the fact that the Broncos D held a quality running game in Jacksonville to 12, yes twelve yards rushing last week!  And now former Bronco Portis is in town.  Broncos may not be "up" enough for this one, that's the only way they don't get an easy win.
Denver Broncos -6.5
Denver/Washington UNDER 34.5
Cincinnati at Jacksonville, 8:30 p.m.
Impressed with Cinncy but BY FAR their toughest test of the season.  Jags D too good and they'll be fired up at home in primetime and looking to improve over a terrible offensive showing last week.
Jacksonville Jaguars -2.5

Pittsburgh at San Diego
