The Titans will find things tough going against the Baltimore defense, but trusting the Ravens offense against even a defense this bad is a bit tricky. But going with the better D and perhaps at least a one game spark with Wright is enough to back the Ravens.

Certainly respect the Colts and they are very tough at home. But the Jags gave them 2 tough games last year - of course that just means Indy will be ready. Jags offense looking solid to be effective and certainly their defense is high quality. Always like Peyton and the boys in the RCA Dome, but against a D this good with an offense to help (unlike Baltimore had) this is too many points to pass up.

Perhaps a case of teams headed in opposite directions. Vikings problems not as bad as they seemed a week ago I don't believe, but Bengals offense is impressive and this team has a lot of confidence. Vikings not historically a good road play even in the Randy Moss days. Lay it with the home team.

The loss of Jenkins certainly weakens a defense that was looking to be one of the best in the league this season. But, we don't consider the Raiders win a good measuring stick of the Patriots, the Raiders are not very good and made a lot of mistakes. Panthers won't do the same. Pats may burn us and make us believers after this tough road game, ultimately another game best skipped while you count your money from winning with our TOP PICKS.

Eagles looked lack luster on Monday Night - certainly give the Falcons some credit and the last minute loss of Trotter didn't help. Expect little mercy for San Fran. Never thrilled to lay this many points in the NFL, but don't see any logical reason to play it any other way.

Philadelphia Eagles -13.5

Seattle has the tools, they just need to put them together more often. Tough long trip for Atlanta but can't ignore the Seahawks 1-8 ATS record at home and have a lot of respect for this Falcons D. Long trip, let down after a big win - not good signs. Atlanta a better team, but the better team doesn't always win. Another slight preference to the home team, smarter money looks 'over' the number.

What happened to St. Louis up in San Fran? Who knows for sure but it looked a lot like the beginning of the end for this team. Arizona still some question marks but at home the better option.

Saw nothing from either team to get too excited about last week. But Favre is back home - possibly in his last ever home opener. Favre has always been better with a favorite receiver, until he finds a new one struggles could continue, we know the Browns struggle for points.

Green Bay Packers -6.5
Cleveland/Green Bay UNDER 41.5

Jets will be better than a week ago (they can't be worse) and the Dolphins simply caught the Broncos the sleeping. Jets have owned the Dolphins, 11-2-1 ATS last 14 times they've played! A team with SuperBowl aspirations can't start 0-2, they won't.

Chargers weakness remains isolated to only one spot - the secondary. Don't believe Plummer can take advantage. With Gates back the Chargers get better. We don't believe San Diego will repeat their run of last year, but we don't see much to like in Denver either. This one comes down to a field goal, take the 3 - even buy a 1/2 point then you don't care who kicks the game winner!

Chiefs D not nearly as good as a 7 (very late) points allowed performance may indicate. Plenty of yards allowed, and plenty of mistakes from NY. But, could see the same with Oakland although receivers better. Injuries for KC not as bad as first thought last Sunday night and they will slow the Raider run game. Chiefs will absolutely take advantage of the Raiders D - which is as bad (if not a little worse) than they showed. Tough to play against a home team in a division game home opener, but we see many more positives in KC.
