With about 1/3 of the season gone for most teams - who's actually good? We see some impressive records - but who's REALLY good?

Clearly, the BEST in the league are New England and Philadelphia. They look unbeatable right now.

On the next level - because there can only be one best in each league: Indy (very close but ultimately they don't have a good enough defense), Denver (they absolutely have the defense and an offense good enough - they are the Pats toughest test we think). In the NFC: Seattle (two tough losses to quality teams, Seattle still has all the weapons), Minnesota (GREAT offense, but like Indy probably lack the D to go all the way).

Still in the championship picture: NY Jets (at 5-0 why are we just now getting to them? Lack of experience at being expected to win and benefiting from a soft schedule), Pittsburgh (see Jets reasons...). In the NFC: Atlanta (the defense is NOT as good as they've shown early - but Vick will get better as the year goes on in the new offense), NY Giants (starting to make us a believer).

Teams we haven't mentioned yet - but could be in the picture (even if not a real title contender): Baltimore (the defense is overwhelming and they have no offense at all), Jacksonville (their middle D is very good and Leftwich is a special player - but their are still weaknesses), San Diego (just don't see them keeping this up), Houston (tough division but this team has talent). In the NFC: Detroit (not sure they'll have the confidence, experience or D), St. Louis (Faulk just not the weapon he once was - and they need him).

Hard to believe it's already week 7 - but there is A LOT of football to be played. It's going to be fun! ENJOY!

So do the Ravens have somebody behind Lewis to carry the load? Perhaps yes, but the Bills do play solid defense and the Ravens still don't have a passing threat to worry too many defenses. Look for this one to be closer than expected.

Seems there aren't too many believers about this Chargers team. Couple this with what seems to be a lingering confidence in the Panthers and this one looks like an upset in the making.

Pretty sure the Colts offense will score, also pretty sure the Colts defense can't really stop anybody. Indy very impressive this season - a little rust possible after the bye week? Still not convinced the Jags are as good as their record - but do believe they are good enough to take this many points.

This line clearly announces that the oddsmakers in Vegas don't believe the Chiefs are as bad as their record or that the Falcons are as good as theirs. We agree, but we also see a KC defense that can't stop anybody on the third down and a Falcons team with a lot to prove. Chiefs tough at home normally, but with their D, can't lay it.

Look for a Rams let down here, off two big wins, including a Monday Night game and playing the worst team in football the Rams might not be 100% focused. Dolphins still play very tough D - their D keeps them close.

Randy Moss will be a game time decision. Which Titans team shows up won't be known until much later than that. We've got 5 TOP PICKS this week - our best advice, stick with those. But it is hard to bet against Culpepper right now - with our without Randy Moss.

So? Are the Packers back? They've looked great in two wins this year, terrible in their losses. But, the Cowboys haven't looked great in wins or losses. Testaverde coming back to reality and the Cowboys have no running game right now.
