Will the real Chargers please stand up? Will the real Falcons please stand up? By week 6 we normally have a good feel for most of the teams. We'll be perfectly honest - these 2 are not on that list this year. A closer look at the Falcons early season opponents may reveal their defense was a bit overrated and their offense can't make it's mind. The Chargers Drew Brees clearly has a fear of losing his job - and it's been a great motivator. He's been awesome in the 2 games since his job was threatened. Best to stay away from this game, stick with our best, but we must play the points when both teams seem capable of a blowout oddly enough.

Look at it this way - at least this isn't the Monday Night game...
This one will be ugly. I'm not sure what else to say. I suppose the Bills have more theoretical chances to actually score - but they haven't yet this year. Both teams rely very heavily on their defense - in fact if a D can get in the endzone they may give their team a win. Desperation vs. Desperation. There is absolutely no reason for this line to be so high - even against the Miami 3rd string QB - he can't be worse, can he?

Ugh. Another very ugly football game on tap. The Bears might actually have their entire starting offense line back for this game. So will they finally be able to run? Probably not against this defense. Will Quinn be better? Although he can't be too much worse this week, probably not. So we're picking Washington? Wrong. Their problems extend off the field. Players again aren't happy in Washington and Mark Brunnell looks lost out there right now. Another game best to save your money. We find it hard to pick either team so we stick with the home team but do see a chance to make some money on the total.

Okay - perhaps our list of bad teams at the top of the page this week needed to be longer. Another game that even DirecTV Sunday Ticket should consider not showing. Peter Warrick is not 100% and may miss this game. Carson Palmer is making too many mistakes and too often not taking the right risks. The Browns are a better team on paper and perhaps a week back under his belt helps Suggs.

Possible SuperBowl preview? Should be a great game. One that could end the Pats streak. The Seahawks have a more explosive offense - now we aren't convinced it can exlode against the Patriots in New England but they have the talent to play with New England - heck it seems they've been thinking about this game since last Sunday - problem was there was still 8:34 to go in the game they were still playing?!?!? Can they bounce back? Enough to stay close we believe.

Tough to not just bet the house against the 49ers - especially as injuries just keep killing this team. But, teams have seemed to stop playing against the 49ers and letting them make huge 4th quarter runs - and with the line 10 points you must be leary of the back door cover with this team. However, the Jets are quitely one of the best teams in the league. They'll again get no credit for this win if they get it and stay under the radar. Always hesitant to lay big numbers, but it's been working this season.

The Eagles have won every game this year by double digits!!!

Certainly appeared the Titans are BACK - but is that due to Green Bay problems or Titans resurrection? We think we know - but nevertheless this line is out of line based on what everybody saw on Monday Night. Excellent line value here.

Can the Steelers young QB continue to dispell the common thinking that rookie QBs can't win in the NFL? Maybe not against this defense. But we see too many problems for the Cowboys offense that really seems to lack balance right now. Too close a game to not take.

Broncos, depsite their best efforts to the contrary, just keep winning football games. Collins clearly not the answer in Oakland and the defense has too many question marks.
