Can't lay this many with young team, despite quick improvements under Parcells. Intangibles obvious here but too many points. Many better options this week.

Packers still too much of a question mark, lost at home to only good team they've played until this week. Several advantages for the Seahawks on their coaching staff. Favre may press too much against Holmgren. Seahawks have been the better team this year, take the points.

Portis looks to be back, but is he one hit away from again sitting this one out? Either way the Chiefs at home a tough task. Plummer gets first real test of the season - tough D, on the road in a huge game. We have little faith in Plummer in this situation.

Dolphins have struggled the past few seasons on the road and the Giants have a nicely balanced attack on offense. Close game but in the end side with the home team.

Saints continue to struggle - things do not get easier at Carolina. The Saints will really have a hard time scoring against this D. Panther offense good enough, and getting better. 8 loss disaster a year ago after 3-0 starts keeps us from going to heavy with Carolina but the Panthers are a much better football team.

Leftwich goes again at QB. We have little doubt Byron will be great QB in this league someday but it takes time and a better supporting cast. Chargers a little better each week and the Jags D may not be able to slow Tomlinson. Neither team a worthy play, again better to stick with our 3 TOP PICKS! We do like the 'over' as the better opportunity in this game. Neither D the strength of their team and Leftwich is big play capable.

Problems continue in San Fran, on and off the field. Another good side story in this one, expect both teams to put up some points in this one as both defenses have some holes. Better play in this game is 'over' the total. Side a tricky call as it's tough to read how the 49ers will react to "The Mooch" being back in town. Stick with the total in this one and when it's a tough call, we take the points.

Confident that Philly has righted the ship on offense but not convinced the D is up to par. Impressed enough Redskins that the points look good. Eagles may get the win, but just don't think the D can slow Washington enough to cover what seems to be too high of a number. With all that said, the over is a good play as well.

Inconsistent offense for the Steelers and the defense has continued to show vulnerability. This game will be closer than a TD, take the points.
