The Jets are playing as well as anybody in the league right now. They are healthy and confident. The Colts bring in plenty of weapons and an improved defense over a year ago. But the Colts have been too inconsistent this season. It's tempting to take the points with the offensive weapons Indy brings in but the Jets will be too tough at home. Curtis Martin will be too much for the Colts to stop and once he gets going Pennington has shown he has what it takes to make big plays. The weather could have a big factor on the game. The field already isn't in good shape and the forecast is for rain/snow. We feel the weather favors the Jets as the Colts biggest weapon is the speedy Marvin Harrison who plays indoors on turf. The Jets have better balance on offense and are strong at home.

Favre vs. Vick - This should be fun. Two of the most enjoyable to watch QBs in the league. And it will be cold. We all know the Packers don't lose at Lambeau in the playoffs. But the key to this game could very well be the health of Donald Driver. It took a while for Favre to find a favorite receiver - once he did they looked unbeatable. They haven't looked great lately, but remember for all pratical purposes they wrapped up the division a long time ago. The Packers have played through injuries all season and will have to do it again. Vick is outside of (way out... a night game at Lambeau) the comfy confines of his home dome and he has struggled lately - mainly because he has to be a one man team. Outside of Vick, the Falcons are not a very good team. If Favre doesn't turn the ball over and can find someone else to throw to (if Driver doesn't play) the Packers will have little trouble in this game. Without Driver it could be a bit closer but a TD win behind Amahan Green is still likely.

Since a back door cover with Vick remains a possiblity, those cashing tickets and heading to the bank are the one's betting our TOP PICK on the total!

Can the Browns get it done without Tim Couch? Which back is healthiest for Pittsburgh? The Browns played a lot of close games this year - including 2 against the Steelers - although the 2nd had a misleading final score. William Green must come up huge, perhaps asking a lot of a rookie RB. The Browns play hard and will not quit, making the points tempting. Holcomb was respectable in relief of Couch earlier in the year - but he is young playing in Pittsburgh is always tough. The Steelers will be up for the Browns and Maddox seems to have the rust off after his injury. With Couch we'd like the points, but the Steelers will stop Green and make Holcomb beat them - he won't be able to. We like the total to sneak over as the Steelers have been known to let up late with big leads.
