Vick remains doubtful, and with Shockey still a question mark for this game there is no line. Without Vick it will be hard to find a reason to the Falcons unless we can get a TD or more. We'll update once a line is posted.

We like the Ravens a lot more Ray Lewis in the lineup - and he likely won't be this week. But the Colts again have failed to show the instinct (or ability?) to put teams away when they have them down. Even without Lewis this defense is quick and hungry. Take the points.

Buffalo's defense hasn't stopped anyone this season and with Boselli and Young possibly back on the line to protect Carr look for David Carr to have some success against this defense. Bledsoe unlikely to not pull out the win at home, but we like the points in a high scoring affair.

Neither team worthy of supporting despite Carolina's impressive record. The best play on this game is the over/under pick and it's 1 of 3 TOP PICKS this week!!

The Patriots desperately need a win, and getting Green Bay away from Lambeau field might be a good formula. But with the way Brett Favre is getting comfortable with his receivers and off the huge Monday Night confidence builder it's tough to play against the Packers getting this many points. We're concerned about the Packer D being very banged up, but the Pats D hasn't been impressive of late. Expect a shoot-out and I'll take Favre in a shoot-out any time.

The Redskins may have found their answer at QB last week in Ramsey. We're not ready to jump on the Washington bandwagon but the week off seems to have done wonders. Too many question marks for New Orleans D and how effective will the ground game be on the road against this defense. Many questions for both teams but we'll play the home dog.

The Steelers yet to show us anything to be too impressed by and Corey Dillion finally woke up last week. If Dillion has another good game the Bengals will look to prove that any team in this league can win any game.

Holcombe is out, and Couch is hurting. It's likely that Couch will go but until a decission is made there is no line on this game. Seems likely Couch will go but he'll be tender and the Buccs will go for the knockout and Couch may not finish. We'll wait for the line and update but we like how things are setting up for Tamapa Bay.
***Update - Couch forced into action and the defense of Clev remains thin. Tough to lay this many with TB but it's the better play.

With the Chiefs offense is tough to count them out of any game. But can they stop the tough combo of Tomlinson and Brees? Probably not, but they may be able to keep up against their old head coach. This is a very different Chiefs team than Marty ever had, and a very good Chargers team. But until someone stops Priest Holmes we like the Chiefs and the points.

There is no reason to think the Rams will get things going any time soon. Tough to lay this many on the road in the NFL but the Rams have a lot of problems, including the possiblity that many players have given up already. The Raiders have been the best team in the NFL so far, and remain healthy. The Rams have been the worst, and are not healthy.

A battle to establish dominance in the AFC. Don't read too much into the Broncos embarassing loss to Baltimore - they simply didn't show up and the Ravens are better than many think. Denver bounced back in a big way last week and now in primetime in a big will be tough. The Denver D shutdown Tomlinson, look for the same fate for Ricky Williams and if Ricky can't be big Fiedler will struggle.
