The Packers defense has looked very bad this season - but this is the Panthers, 3-0 or not, it's the Panthers. Carolina has gotten their wins against unimpressive opponents. But the Packers have some injury concerns and Carolina has some confidence. Don't look for the Panthers to get to 4-0, but look for them to give the Pack some trouble. The smart money in this game is on the total! It's one of three TOP PICKS this week!

The Bills, behind Drew Bledsoe have an impressive passing offense this season. However they have not shown a running game. The Bears defense will provide a tough test for the Bills. Chicago's superior ground game could take control of the game. I don't see either team getting too far from the other, it will stay close. In close games we take the points.

The Steelers may not have been happy about getting their bye week in week 3 when the schedule game out. But after their first 2 games they desperately needed it. Can they plug all the holes in the defense? Probably not, it's a talent problem not a scheme problem. The Browns will put some points on the board and until the Steelers run get's going Stewart will have to pass more. And when the Steelers rely to heavily on Kordell they struggle. This will be back and forth game with some points.

The Rams have some issues on offense, no question about it. But their defense is decent and they did start the season with 3 tough games. I don't expect the Rams to be the same team they have been the past few years, but I do expect them to look more like it against Dallas. I believe this number may be a bit high, but I've seen nothing from Dallas to make me think the Rams won't get clicking for at least a day. I've correctly gone against the Rams the first 3 of the year, I'll give them this chance agains the lowly Cowboys although there are better bets this week.

For only the 5th time in NFL history a team is a 20 or more point underdog. The Eagles are very likely to overlook this game and not be fully prepared. But they may still cover the spread. The Eagles have superior talent and the defense will cause a lot of problems for Carr. You always have to worry about a late meaningless TD resulting in a cover with this kind of spread but the Texans haven't shown the ability to get that score.

The Chiefs leaky defense and high scoring offense faces one of the AFC's best teams. However, they nearly beat one of the AFC's other best teams on the road last week. The Dolphins are unlikely to overlook KC after they scared NE last week. The Chiefs will have a trouble running against this defense and without Holmes having a great game they will be in trouble.

The Saints are off to a great start as they have it clicking on both offense and defense. The Lions nearly pulled a huge upset last week at home behind Harrington. Look for the Saints to control the game both offensively and defensively and have the depth to keep the Lions from covering via the "back-door" with a late TD.

The New York Giants travel to the desert Southwest where they've had plenty of success, winning and covering 4 of 5 in Tempe. The look a little pathetic last week, so hopefully the worked on where the endzone is during practice this past week. But until the Cardinals find a running game they will struggle.

The Buccs got a huge win on Monday night and their biggest opponent this week is themselves. They must refocus and be ready for Bengals - not an easy task as Cinncy is really struggling. If the Bengals had shown any signs of anything this year I'd take the points, but they haven't. As long as the Buccs show up they'll be fine.

The Titans have been inconsistent this year, in fact they've been inconsistent within each game. The Raiders come in rested and ready to go. With Eddie George still a bit hurt the Titans will need to throw more so look for some points in this game as the Titans D has been dicey this year. The Titans behind McNair have the weapons to stay close and get a late TD to cover this number.

The Vikings have too many problems to mention. The Seahawks are not in much better shape but are back home and should get Alexander going finally against this defense. I don't see either team getting much done on offense despite the poor defenses they'll be facing.
