San Francisco at Arizona (+4)(41)

Tough to trust the 49ers who are locked into the 4th playoff spot and have some ailing superstars that could use some rest. Even healthy and playing for something the Niners have shown a great ability to let up on big leads throughout the year. Arizona still playing hard and with emergence of Shipp some optimism now in the mix.

Philadelphia at Dallas (+6.5)(37)

Tempting to look at Dallas to bounce back after huge disappointment last week. After all the Cowboys had been playing better. But the Eagles are still playing for A LOT - a week off would be gold for McNabb so a let down seems unlikely from red hot Philly. The Eagle D will cause some problems for Hutchinson who has to have some shaken confidence after a week ago.

We love Green Bay at home, but they lose some of the home edge against Buffalo who plays one of the few places that gets as cold as Lambeau. Packers D simply not good enough to lay this many against Bills team who face official elimination with a loss. Green Bay is the superior team and don't expect Favre's home win streak to end but after a big win in San Fran last week a let down is possible and we still have faith in Bledsoe.

The Bears are a better football team with Chandler at QB. If he can manage to play the entire game the Bears have a shot at a win here. Carolina as up and down as any team this year.

The struggling Falcons may have the key to rebounding coming to town. Our initial play was to take the points but we just couldn't bring ourselves to do it with Detroit on the road. We like McMahon at QB for Detroit but the key is Stewart. If he's out (and it appears he may be) the Lions won't have the tools to keep Vick off the field. Look for a bounce back performance from Atlanta - but it is a big number so *the smartest move is to stay away. Stick with our TOP PICKS!

Simply can't lay this many with the Redskins, they have too many issues. The Texans have had a decent first year and another win here isn't out of the question. Not convinced the Redskins are putting out that much effort while Houston continues to play hard.

The Colts the more talented team and the Giants run hot and cold. Another game that makes our TOP PICKS look so good! After last week it's tough to bet against the Giants. Both teams fighting for their playoff live and the Giants traditionally win the late big games under Fassel. This should be close.

The Titans have been amazing lately. Check that, Steve McNair has been amazing. A let down from Tennessee is not unlikely and certainly the Jags will be up for this rivarly game. This seems destined to be a close game.

Kick 'em when they're down. The Seahawks await their shot at taking advantage of the Rams. Faulk will play, although unlikely to start. That is a huge mistake. The season is over, Martz - let him rest! His injury concerns over the past few years could be the demise of a resurection next season - it's not worth the chance. But he's chasing some season milestones so we'll pad some stats. Not much to support either team really outside the impressive record of Bulger. But this is on the road against a team who probably wants it more.

This should be a battle. Two teams pretty evenly matched and with something to play for. Bottom line here is that the Browns have a bit more talent but are on the road. This one too close to not take the points.

Which Patriots team will show up? At home fighting for survival you'd expect their best. Pennington could have some tough times against the Pats D - but as McNair showed last week their are some holes. Classic AFC East battle - we'll bite on the extra 1/2.
