Here's my quick look at the teams in the playoffs....
Titans - One of the few teams that have all the tools. They
have the experience, the offense and defense and will tough to beat
at home.
Raiders - Defense has been good enough at times, certainly
the offense is there but they lack experience and had a relatively
soft schedule.
Dolphins - Not sure Miami has the QB to get them too far and
the defense has shown some vunerability lately.
Ravens - No question the D is the best, despite being exposes
a bit on Sunday. But this team simply doesn't have the offense to
compete for the title.
Broncos - Denver's defense is their weakness, and face some
question marks at QB. Griese, if ready will be rusty but Ferrorte
(despite success) is not the guy to get it done.
Colts - Playing as well as any team right now, but lack a killer
instinct too often and they give up too many points.
Giants - If they can find the motivation to be their best
they will be tough. But inconsistency may keep this team from going
the distance. Just don't think Kerry Collins is ready to go this far.
Vikings - Clearly they posses the WR's and the running game
is better than in previous years. But the defense is weak and can
Culpepper finish off his cinderella season in the Super Bowl?
Saints - A rare losing record at home for the Saints. Too much
in experience to go to far.
Eagles - The Eagles have quietly been a very solid team and
with McNabb being a huge weapon they could be surprising tough.
Buccaneers - Not sure King can get it done for this team, but
he's improved and shown me a lot in the last 2 weeks, if they can
find the offense they could get it done.
Rams - Nobody in the NFC playoffs wanted the Rams to be here.
It'll be a tough road indeed and they are much better at home, but
many of the problems that had their regular season be disappointing
may be solved.
But all that said, it will be very tough to pick winners straight
up much less ATS the spread. There really is no team that is clearly
better than any other. All of these teams have played great at times,
and all have had some very bad games. Should be a great playoff season!
Enjoy!

Indianapolis (-2)(42.5) at Miami

Part 3 - Each team surprisingly winning on
the road in the matchups earlier in the season. A trend extending
to the last 5 games between these two. The Colts enter the playoffs
playing better football but don't think Miami has forgotten
about the Colts win at ProPlayer 2 weeks ago. The Dolphins defense
will be at their best, and that's very good. Miami is tough
to beat at home in the playoffs. This game will come down to
a FG, I'll bet on Olindo Mare.

Can the Rams win 2 in a row at New Orleans?
Not often such a scenario plays out but this should be a good
game. I really think that the Rams will have the experience
and talent to win this game, but can they cover essentially
a TD? I don't think so, not with their defense. They should've
won last week by 2 TD's, but knowing the Bears were close to
beating Detroit the defense couldn't shut down New Orleans late.
The Rams should win the game, but take the points and look for
the Saints defense to be solid and play the under.

Tampa Bay (-2.5)(34.5) at Philadelphia

Another cold weather game for the Buccs, but
unfamiliar ground for the Eagles, returning to the playoffs
after plenty of post seasons at home. Neither team has much
offense and the defensive edge goes to Tampa Bay. But don't
underestimate the Eagle defense. Of course a lot is being made
of Tampa being 0-19 in cold weather games, but Tampa was a really
bad football team for a long time and didn't win games anywhere.
But still, the Eagles certainly more accustomed to the cold
weather. Bottom line here is that McNabb is too tough to stop
to bet against. I'm just not convinced King can get it done
on the road for this team.
