Looking back on September 16th the comments below seem rather entertaining with Michigan...we told you we weren't sold on them, I had no idea how right we'd be....

A very early look at what's ahead in week 4 of the college football season...
posted August 4th, 2007

Penn St at Michigan - Another big test for Michigan, if they survived last week, how much do they have left here?

South Carolina at LSU - Tigers at home will be exceptionally tough again but Spurrier will have his team ready and they have some talent, LSU better not take this one lightly.

Charleston at Hawaii - Will the Rainbows score 100?

You can WIN $500 just for visiting ScottsPicks.com!

Louisville -37
They can win this game by 50 without even trying. Syracuse is terrible and Louisville not in a very good mood after losing to Kentucky.

Indiana +3
In this battle of fairly evenly match teams we like the home dog. Illinois off to a disappointing start while Indiana playing better than expect.

BYU -11.5
Excellent line value here as both teams off mis-leading results a week ago. BYU at home will have no problem with this game.

NFL Football Tickets - Any game! Any City! Never Sold Out at TicketCity!

Ohio State -22.5
Yes, OSU struggling but one of the nations worst teams in town should finally get the healthy.

Penn State -3
I think's it fair to say this is the best team Michigan has faced. Penn State is balanced on offense and bring some D into the vulnerable Big House.

East Carolina/West Virginia UNDER 60
ECU will have a tough time getting anything but they play some tough defense of their own and at least for a while may contain WVU enough to keep this one a reasonable blow out.

Toledo +4
Iowa State perhaps down after huge win last week against Iowa, and Toledo desperate to right the ship, likely does so at home where they are traditionally excellent.

Purdue -13.5
Minnesota has failed with the new offense, but then reverting to the ground game has gotten back in games against lesser opponents, that's not very likely to happen here. Purdue will take full advantage of very bad Golden Gopher defense.

Oregon -17
Very impressed by Oregon and just don't believe Stanford (though improved) has the weapons or depth to slow down the Ducks attack and certainly not the offense to keep up against this team.

Arizona State -12
Oregon State/Arizona State OVER 54

The home team is 17-2 ATS in this series! Probably due at least in part to the vastly different climates. Oregon State has enough offense to keep for a while on the scoreboard thus we do like over, but late in the game Arizona State will pull away.

Florida-Int'l/Kansas OVER 54
The way the Jayhawks offense has been rolling over lesser opponents KU has a chance to get this one their own so it takes only an understandable defensive intensity let down or two by Kansas to push this over the total.
